During this art exhibition will be presented a total of 5 artworks made by Andres Ballesteros, Tilata´s eleven grade student directed to all type of public. The chosen conductive thread is cartoon. The first artwork presented is a symbolic self portrait, the image is presented is the face of a jaguar, this animal have a symbology charge really similar to the author's personality, including characteristics like, power, ferocity, valor and represents the power to face one's fears; the technique that was used during its elaboration was pencil drawing, with colors, paintings and brush. Then is presented the second artwork is Goku Vitruvio, the idea of this painting was to use a modern character and mixe its image with a famous painting of Renaissance, vitruvian man. The technique used during the elaboration was pencil drawing and crayon. The third artwork presented was a an animated hot dog made in porcelanicron, it represent a type of food that I like to consume since I was a kid, and linking it to my conductive threat by making it in a caricature way; the technique was porcelanicron. The next artwork, jump from caricature channels to superheroes, the Pop Heroes Art, the idea was to represent que main iconics superheroes, each one representing one of the most common powers, super strength, super velocity and cunning; the techniques that were used, were marker and pencil painting. The last and most important artwork is a concept artwork, because because of quarantine situation I didn't have the opportunity to make the whole artwork, is a graffiti I will make in the two sides of the same wall, working on the concept of Covid-19 and the effect it had on us biologically and psychologically. What I realize during this process is that I choose caricature as my conductive thread because I think that is a method to represent anything you want in a happy way, for me and many children, caricature represent happiness and in some way, a disconnection from the real world.
